Rice-Nut Loaf

 Rice-Nut Loaf, Serve with brown mushroom gravy or any tomato or mushroom sauce for a delicious meal.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) , short grain brown rice cooked
  • 1/2 cup(s) , wheat germ
  • 3/4 cup(s) , walnuts chopped
  • 1/4 cup(s) , dry roasted sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup(s) , onion chopped
  • 2 cup(s) , fat-free or low-fat cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , yeast
  • 8 ounces , Egg Beaters

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Combine all ingredients and pack into an oiled 9-inch loaf pan. Bake for about 50 minutes until firm. (CAREFUL...bottom has a tendency to burn). Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, slice.
