Basic Vinaigrette

 This is the basic recipe for vinaigrette that is used in many restaurants. It adds tremendous flavor and is low in fat.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup(s) , E. V. Olive Oil
  • 1/3 cup(s) , Red Wine Vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) , Dijon Mustard
  • 0 to taste , Salt and Pepper

Instructions:
Combine vinegar, mustard and seasoning in a large mixing bowl. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking vigorously to bring the emulsification together( so the oil and vinegar mix and don't separate. Toss lightly with salad greens to coat. Serve. You can also use this as a flavoring for fish or chicken.
