Blue Cheese Salad Dressing

 This Blue Cheese Salad Dressing is a great recipe to make so that you can have the same dressing as your favorite restaurant.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 whole , large garlic clove finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , Dijon-style mustard
  • 2 tablespoon(s) , fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon(s) , white-wine vinegar
  • 1 to taste , Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup(s) , olive oil
  • 1/2 cup(s) , sour cream
  • 3/4 cup(s) , crumbled blue cheese plus additional to taste
  • 2 tablespoon(s) , water

Instructions:
1. In a blender or small food processor blend together garlic, mustard, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and pepper to taste.
2. With the motor running add the oil in a slow stream and blend until mixture is combined.
3. Add the sour cream, 3/4 cup blue cheese, and water, or enough to obtain desired consistency. Blend dressing until it is combined well; transfer to a bowl. Stir in the additional blue cheese.
Makes about 1 1/3 cups.
