When you think about Italian cooking you think about Lasagna. This recipe is one of my favorite because the Lasagna is meaty and a wonderful Italian dish. |

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound(s) , hamburger
- 1 whole , onion chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) , garlic minced
- 24 ounces , Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup(s) , parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup(s) , mozzarella cheese
- 32 ounces , spaghetti sauce
- 2 whole , eggs
- 3 teaspoon(s) , parsely flakes
- 1 teaspoon(s) , salt
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) , pepper
- 1 teaspoon(s) , basil
- 16 ounces , lasagna noodles

MEAT SAUCE: Brown the hamburger and onion, drain grease. Add the spaghetti sauce, garlic, 1/2 t. salt, 1 t. basil and 1 T. parsley flakes.
CHEESE MIXTURE: Beat the eggs, add cottage cheese, 1/2 t. salt, 1/2 t pepper, parmesan cheese and 2 T parsley flakes.
BAKING: In a well-greased 9x13 pan, place 1 layer of cold cooked noodles, 1/3 meat sauce, 1/2 cheese mixture and 1/2 mozzarella cheese. Repeat the procedure, saving enough meat sauce for the top. Bake at 375 for 30 to 35 minutes. |
