Tofu Stir-fry with Almonds

 Tofu is a healthy substitute for meat. It is loaded with protien and is low in fat

INGREDIENTS:
  • 4 tablespoon(s) , Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon(s) , Honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Pepper
  • 1 pound(s) , Tofu Cut in Squares
  • 2 tablespoon(s) , Peanut Oil
  • 1 medium , Onion Finely Chopped
  • 2 medium , Zucchini Julienned
  • 2 medium , Carrots Julienned
  • 1 cup(s) , Snow Peas
  • 1 teaspoon(s) , Fresh Ginger Grated
  • 1 cup(s) , Almonds Slivered
  • 1/2 cup(s) , Sesame Seeds

Instructions:
Combine the soy sauce, honey, and pepper. Pour the sauce over the tofu until it is well coated.

Heat the oil, then sauté the vegetables and ginger for 5 minutes. Ina separate pan, toast the almonds and sesame seeds. Mix the tofu with the vegetables and heat.

Sprinkle the mixture with the sesame seeds and almonds. Serve immediately.
