INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoon(s) , Vegetable Broth
- 2 whole , garlic minced
- 21 ounces , firm tofu crumbled
- 10 whole , fresh mushrooms sliced
- 1 1/4 cup(s) , celery chopped
- 1 cup(s) , carro chopped
- 2 1/2 cup(s) , green bell peppers
- 16 ounces , tomato sauce
- 6 ounces , tomato paste
- 3 tablespoon(s) , soy sauce
- 2 tablespoon(s) , honey
- 1 1/2 whole , bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon(s) , dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) , dried oregano
- 1 to taste , thyme
- 1 to taste , marjoram
- 1 pound(s) , pasta cooked
- 1 to taste , parmesan cheese freshly grated
- 2 medium , onions chopped

| Instructions: |
In a large skillet or pot, heat broth and saute garlic and onions for 1 minute. Add tofu and saute 4 to 5 minutes. Add mushrooms and saute 1 minute. Add remaining ingredients (except pasta), bring to a boil, and simmer over low heat for 15 minutes or so, stirring frequently. For best flavor, refrigerate overnight to let flavors blend.
Remove bay leaf, reheat, and serve over hot pasta. Sprinkle with Parmesan |
