INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup(s) , Milk
- 2 tablespoon(s) , Sugar
- 1/4 cup(s) , Flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Cornstarch
- 2 large , Eggs Beaten
- 2 tablespoon(s) , Unsalted Buter
- 3 1/2 ounces , Semi Sweet Chocolate; Grated Grated
- 2 teaspoon(s) , Brandy Or Rum
- 0 to taste , Powder Sugar

| Instructions: |
Stir together the flour, sugar and cornstarch.
Scald the milk in top of double boiler.
Add hot milk to dry ingredients, a little at a time, stirring between additions; mix well.
Return this mixture to the pan and cook over low heat stir continuously, until the mixture thickens and just comes to a boil.
Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the butter, cut into small pieces, the chocolate and brandy or rum.
Stir until smooth, then leave to cool slightly.
Spoon the mixture into the pie shell and dust with powdered sugar to prevent a skin from forming. Chill.
Cover with your favorite whipped cream and dust the cream with coarsely grated chocolate. |
