Applesauce Cake with Raisins and Pecans

 This is a spice cake like no other. It has all kinds of flavors and textures. I hope you make it and love it.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 cup(s) , Butter
  • 1 teaspoon(s) , Cinnamon
  • 2 cup(s) , Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Nutmeg
  • 2 large , Eggs
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) , Allspice
  • 2 1/2 cup(s) , Flour Sifted
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) , Applesauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Baking Soda
  • 1/2 cup(s) , Raisins
  • 1 teaspoon(s) , Salt
  • 1/2 cup(s) , Pecans

Instructions:
Cream butter and sugar till light.
Add eggs, beating well after each addition.
Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture alternately
with applesauce.
Stir in raisins and pecans.
Turn batter into greased and lightly floured pan (13x9x2-inch).
Bake at 350F about 45 minutes ot till done. Cool in pan.
