INGREDIENTS:
- 1 1/4 cup(s) , Sugar
- 1/3 cup(s) , Cornstarch
- 1/3 cup(s) , Cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) , Salt
- 2 1/2 cup(s) , Milk
- 2 large , Egg Yolks Slightly Beaten
- 3 tablespoon(s) , Butter
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Vanilla Extract
- 2 medium , Bananas Sliced
- 1 large , Crumb Nut Crust
- 1 can(s) , Whipped Topping
- 1/2 cup(s) , Peanuts Chopped
- 1 large , Additional Banana Slices
- 0 to taste , Maraschino Cherries

| Instructions: |
In medium saucepan, stir together sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and salt.
Stir together milk and egg yolks; gradually stir into sugar mixture.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and come to a boil.
Reduce heat to low; boil, stirring constantly, 3 minutes.
Remove from heat; stir in butter and vanilla.
Press plastic wrap directly onto filling; cool about 20 minutes.
Arrange banana slices over bottom of Crumb Nut Crust. Pour filling over bananas; press plastic wrap onto filling.
Refrigerate 3 to 4 hours.
Remove plastic wrap; top pie with whipped topping.
Garnish with chopped peanuts, banana slice and maraschino cherries. Refrigerate leftover pie. |
