Steamed Pumpkin Cake

 The crock pot offers a fool proof way to make this delicate dessert.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) , Flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Baking Powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon(s) , Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) , Ground Cloves
  • 1/2 cup(s) , Unsalted Butter Melted
  • 2 cup(s) , Light Brown Sugar
  • 3 large , Eggs Beaten
  • 1 can(s) , Pumpkin
  • 0 as needed , Whipped Cream

Instructions:
Grease 2 1/2 quart souffle that fits in a slow cooker. Combine first 6 ingredients in a bowl and set aside. Beat butter, sugar and eggs in a large bowl with a mixer until creamy. Beat in pumpkin. Stir in flour mixture. Spoon batter into souffle dish. Fill cooker with 1 inch of hot water. Place souffle dish in cooker. Cover and cook on high for 3-3 1/2 hours. Lift souffle from cooker and let cool for 15 minutes. Cut into wedges and serve with a dollop of whipped cream
