Spanish Paella Style Rice

 Paella is a rice based dish from Spain. This dish itself is loaded with meat and seafood, but not this , this is only the rice part. This is cooked in a crock pot.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 can(s) , Chicken Broth
  • 1 1/2 cup(s) , Long Grain Rice Uncooked
  • 1 small , Red Bell Pepper Diced
  • 1/3 cup(s) , Dry White Wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Saffron
  • 1/8 teaspoon(s) , Red Pepper Flakes
  • 1/2 cup(s) , Frozen Peas Thawed
  • 0 to taste , Salt

Instructions:
Combine broth, rice, pepper, wine, saffron and pepper flakes in a slow cooker and mix well. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours. Stir in peas, cover and cook 30 min. season with salt and serve
