INGREDIENTS:
- 1 large , Onion Cut into Wedges
- 2 large , Carrots Sliced
- 4 large , Garlic Cloves Sliced
- 4 large , Meaty Veal Shanks
- 1 tablespoon(s) , Mixed Herbs, Thyme, Rosemary, Oregano, and Basil
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Pepper
- 3/4 cup(s) , Beef Consomme
- 1/4 cup(s) , Dry Vermouth
- 3 tablespoon(s) , Flour
- 3 tablespoon(s) , Water
- 1/4 cup(s) , Parsley Minced
- 1 small , Garlic Clove Minced
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Lemon Zest

Coat slow cooker with cooking spray. Place onion, carrots and sliced garlic in the bottom. Arrange veal over vegetables and sprinkle herbs, salt and pepper over them. Add brothand vermouth and cook 8 hours on low. Transfer veal and veggies to a serving platter. Turn cooker to high and combine the cornstarch and water into the juices. Cover and cook for 15 minutes. Spoon over meat and sprinkle with parsley, garlic, and lemon zest |
