INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup(s) , Butter
- 1 cup(s) , Sugar
- 2 large , Eggs Beaten
- 1/4 cup(s) , Orange Juice
- 2 tablespoon(s) , Orange Zest
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Vanilla
- 2 cup(s) , Enriched FLour
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Baking Soda
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Salt
- 2 cup(s) , Quick Cooking Oats
- 1/2 cup(s) , Dark Chocolate Finely Grated

Thoroughly cream shortening and sugar; add eggs and beat well. Add orange juice, orange peel, and vanilla. Stir in flour sifted with salt and soda. Add oats. Fold in grated chocolate. Drop from a large tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in moderate hot oven, 375 degrees until baked. |
