INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoon(s) , all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) , salt
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) , ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) , mace
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) , nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) , cinnamon
- 1/3 cup(s) , brown sugar
- 1/4 cup(s) , maple syrup
- 1 cup(s) , milk scalded
- 2 whole , eggs well beaten
- 1 1/2 cup(s) , pumpkin canned
- 1 whole , 10 inch unbaked pie shell
- 3 cup(s) , whipped cream

| Instructions: |
Mix all ingredients together except whipped cream.
Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell.
Bake in a hot oven (450 F) 10 minutes; reduce heat to 325 F and bake 30 to 40 minutes longer or until filling is firm.
(Knife inserted in center should come out clean.)
Cool before serving.
If desired, serve with whipped cream.
Note: Filling may be cooked in top of double boiler.
Mix all ingredients together except eggs.
Cook 15 minutes.
Beat eggs, add a little of the filling to the eggs, then add eggs to filling, stirring constantly.
Cook until thick, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour into baked pie shell. |
