INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup(s) , A. P. Flour
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Baking Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Cinnamon
- 1/2 cup(s) , Butter
- 1/2 cup(s) , Granulated Sugar
- 1/3 cup(s) , Brown Sugar
- 3/4 teaspoon(s) , Lemon Zest
- 1 large , Egg
- 1 1/2 cup(s) , Pecans
- 1 1/2 cup(s) , Cranberries Chopped
- 1 cup(s) , Powdered Sugar
- 2 tablespoon(s) , Milk

| Instructions: |
Pre-heat oven to 350 F. Cream butter, granulated and brown sugars, and1/2 tsp of the lemon zest. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Stir in pecans and cranberries. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until golden. Let cool slightly before removing to cooling racks.
To make the icing:
Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and ΒΌ tsp of zest to make a spreadable icing. When cookies are cool, spread icing on cookies. |
