Gingerbread Baby

 This is a great recipe for gingerbread cookies. You may ice this with any basic icing.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 cup(s) , Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) , Salt
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , Baking Soda
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , Ginger
  • 1 teaspoon(s) , Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) , Ground Cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) , Nutmeg
  • 12 tablespoon(s) , Unsalted Butter
  • 3/4 cup(s) , Brown Sugar
  • 1 large , Egg
  • 1/2 cup(s) , Molasses
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , Vanilla

Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375F

In a large Bowl, Sift, and mix Together the

Flour
Salt
Baking Soda
Ginger
Cinnoman
Ground Cloves
Ground Nutmeg

In another Bowl Or mixer, Cream:
Unsalted Butter
Brown Sugar
Egg

Stir the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture.
Then add:
Molasses
Vanilla



Let the dough rest for at least two hours. Roll dough 1/4 inch thick and cut with a cutter. Bake 7 to 10 minutes on a greased cookie sheet.
