Hot Chicken Baguettes

 This is a great chicken sandwich cooked in a slow cooker

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 medium , Carrots Sliced
  • 1/2 cup(s) , Celery Sliced
  • 1 small , Onion Chopped
  • 1 large , Garlic Clove Minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) , Dried Oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) , Red Pepper Flakes
  • 6 medium , Chicken Thighs Boneless, Skinless
  • 1/4 cup(s) , Flour
  • 1 teaspoon(s) , Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , Vegetable Oil
  • 1 can(s) , Chicken Broth
  • 6 small , French Bread Baguettes Split and Toasted
  • 6 slice(s) , Swiss Cheese

Instructions:
Place first 6 ingredients in a slow cooker. Trim fat from chicken. Combine flour, salt and pepper in a large zip top bag. Add chicken, shake to coat. Heat oil in a skillet, add chicken and brown it. Place chicken over vegetables in slow cooker. Cover; cook on low for 5-6 hours. Place 1 chicken piece on the bottom of a baguette, spoon a little broth over it and top with cheese
