Mississippi Oven Fried Chicken
Submitted by: Jimmy
This is a very simple recipe for chicken in the oven. It is still crispy, but not nearly as greasy as deep fried chicken

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 whole , Chicken Cut in Pieces
  • 1/2 cup(s) , Fine Dry Bread Crumbs
  • 2 teaspoon(s) , Salt
  • 1 teaspoon(s) , Paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) , Pepper
  • 1/4 cup(s) , Vegetable Oil

Instructions:
Wash chicken pieces; pat dry. Combine bread crumbs, salt, paprika and pepper. Brush each piece of chicken with vegetable oil, and then roll in crumb mixture. Place coated chicken pieces in shallow lightly oiled baking pan, skin side up.
Bake at 425° for about 35 to 45 minutes, or until chicken is tender and juices run clear.
Serves 4
