Chicken aand Spaghetti

 This is my Mother's recipe. It is easy to prepare and is not too spicy, as it does not contain hot peppers or chili powder. Has great flavor and freezes good. Actually tastes better on second time.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 whole , Chicken Cut into Pieces and Boiled in a
  • 6 tablespoon(s) , Oil
  • 2 cup(s) , Onion Chopped
  • 2 cup(s) , Celery Chopped
  • 1 cup(s) , Green Bell Pepper Chopped
  • 2 large , Garlic Cloves Minced
  • 2 can(s) , Tomato Soup
  • 12 ounces , Spaghetti Noodles
  • 1 cup(s) , Water From Boiling Chicken
  • 0 to taste , Salt and Pepper

Instructions:
Boil and debone chicken. Save the broth. Put oil in skillet, as you heat add garlic, onions, celery, and green pepper. Cook until onion is blanched, but do not brown. Add tomato soup and simmer on low, low heat while cooking spehetti. Cook speghetti in saved chicken broth.
(be sure you save 1 can of the broth for later use) Cook speghetti until tender, then remove from fire, and cover until time to serve. Put the deboned chicken in the soup and vegetable mixture. Simmer and stir as you add the can of saved chicken broth to the chicken and soup mixture. As you stir the mixture you want it to be sur it is not to thick or not to thin, about the thickness of a good stew. Continue to simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes. Salt and pepper to taste. Serve chicken mixture over spaghetti and serve with toasted garlic bread or toasted Texas toast. If there are those present, who would like the Chicken and Spagetti a little hotter, you can have the Louisiana Hot Sauce or Tabasco ready and they can add to their taste, Serve with this a good mixed green salad.
To freeze this chicken and spagetti, mix together in an air tight container. Will save for about 6 mo.
