Brown Sugar Pound Cake

 Brown sugar has a great sweetness to it. It really brings out the best in this pound cake

INGREDIENTS:
  • 5 large , Eggs
  • 3 cup(s) , A.P.Flour
  • 1 package , Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup(s) , Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Baking Powder
  • 1 cup(s) , Milk
  • 1 teaspoon(s) , Vanilla
  • 1 cup(s) , Butter
  • 1/2 cup(s) , Shortning
  • 1/2 cup(s) , Nuts Chopped

Instructions:
Cream shortening and butter well. Add sugar gradually and cream well. Add eggs, one at a time. Sift flour and baking powder together. Add alternately with milk. Mix well. Add 1 cup chopped nuts. Add nuts last to mixture and bake in tube pan at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
