INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoon(s) , Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoon(s) , Rice Wine
- 2 teaspoon(s) , Ginger Juice
- 0 to taste , Salt and Pepper
- 1 pound(s) , Round Steak Sliced into 1/4 inch strips
- 1/3 pound(s) , Unsalted Peanuts Crushed
- 4 tablespoon(s) , Cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon(s) , Water
- 3 cup(s) , Peanut Oil
- 4 large , Lettuce Leaves

Mix the first five ingredients together. Marinade the sliced steak in the seasoning liquid for 15 minutes; drain completely.
Heat 3 Cups peanut oil in wok on high.
Combine the corn starch and water. Dip the steak slices into the 'batter' and then 'bread' with slices with a crushed peanut coating.
Deep-fry the steak slices a handful at a time. Drain on paper towling and keep warm until all the slices have been deep-fried.
Serve the beef in individual portions on lettuce leaves.] |
