Grilled Kiwi and Prawn Kebobs

This is a fantastic appetizer to fix on the grill, the delicate kiwi will turn its natural sugars into a nice caramalized crust and the large prawn will taste great with them. |

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound(s) , Large Prawns
- 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) , Sesame Oil
- 2 teaspoon(s) , Lemon Zest
- 1 tablespoon(s) , Fresh Basil Chopped
- 1 tablespoon(s) , Fresh Cilantro
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Soy Sauce
- 6 medium , Kiwi Fruit Peeled and Cut into Chunks

Peel the prawns, leaving their tails on. Devein if desired. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the sesame oil, lemon zest, basil, cilantro and soy sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Add the prawns. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
Preheat the grill or barbecue. Thread prawns and kiwi fruit onto skewers. Brush the kiwi fruit with a little extra oil. Place the kabobs on the grill or barbecue and cook for 1 to 2 minutes each side, until the prawns are just cooked. Best served on a bed of couscous with pine nuts, parsley and chilies. |
