Clams Casino

 Clams Casino is topped with bacon, tomato sauce, parmesan cheese and bell pepper.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 12 medium , Clams Opened on Shell
  • 4 slice(s) , Bacon Cut in 3 Pieces
  • 2 cup(s) , Tomato Sauce
  • 1 cup(s) , Green Bell Pepper Chopped
  • 0 as needed , Parmesan Cheese

Instructions:
Place each Clam on a washed shell. Add green pepper, tomato sauce, cheese and bacon in that order. Broil until bacon is crisp; melt margarine in a large sauce pan over low heat. Add flour gradually and blend well. Add milk 1 cup at a time, stirring continuously until well-blended; add sauces, sherry and seasonings. Simmer, covered, for 35-40 minutes. Add vegetables and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes. Stir in the Crab Meat and cook over medium heat until hot.
