INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound(s) , Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- 1 pound(s) , Mild Cheddar Cheese
- 2 medium , Cloves Garlic Crushed
- 2 tablespoon(s) , Worcestershire Sauce
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Salt
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Dry Mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon(s) , Hot Pepper Sauce
- 1 cup(s) , Beer

Cut cheese into 1/4 inch slices and put in large bowl. Let stand room temperature about 4 to 6 hours or very soft. Beat until light colored and smooth. Add garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, dry mustard and hot sauce. Add beer 1/4 cup at a time blending well after each addition until light and fluffy. Store in tightly covered jar in refrigerator. Serve as a spread on crackers, A good topping for hot vegetables, baked potatoes on hot homemade breads. Will keep several months. Makes 1 1/2 quart of spread. |
