INGREDIENTS:
- 16 whole , Doves
- 0 to taste , Salt and Pepper
- 0 as needed , Flour
- 1/2 cup(s) , Oil
- 1/2 cup(s) , Green Onions Chopped
- 1 1/2 cup(s) , Water
- 1 cup(s) , Sherry
- 1/4 cup(s) , Fresh Parsley

Season doves with salt and pepper. Roll in flour. Place in oil in a heavy roaster. Bake at 400 degrees until brown. Add onions, water and sherry; cover. Bake until tender, baste with sherry occasionally. Add parsley to gravy just before serving. Serves 8-12. |
