Spinach Stuffed Cornish Game Hens

 Cornish game hens are like little chickens. They can be found in the meat section of the supermarket. They have a nice flavor and 1 is a perfect serving for 1 person

INGREDIENTS:
  • 4 whole , Cornish Game Hens
  • 1 large , Onion Chopped
  • 1 whole , Bay Leaf
  • 1 large , Garlic Clove
  • 2 cup(s) , Port Wine
  • 5 medium , Celery Stalks
  • 1 bunch , Green Onions Chopped
  • 1 large , Egg Beaten
  • 5 tablespoon(s) , Milk
  • 3 1/2 cup(s) , Soft White Bread Crumbs
  • 3 package , Frozen Chopped Spinach

Instructions:
Put hens in marinade of onion, bay leaf, garlic and wiin for a day. Drain and pat dry. Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Prepare stuffing with remaining ingredients. After stuffing hens place in open roaster and brush with a little butter. After 5 minutes in the oven, reduce heat to 350 degrees. Roast for 45 minutes or more or follow instructions for roasting on Cornish Hen package.
