Meatless Meatloaf

 Neat Loaf has the look and taste of meatloaf without the meat or grease. The mixture can also be formed into patties and fried for burgers

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1 cup(s) , brown rice cooked
  • 1 cup(s) , wheat germ
  • 1 cup(s) , quick cooking rolled oats
  • 1 cup(s) , walnuts chopped
  • 1 cup(s) , fresh mushroom chopped
  • 1 whole , onion chopped
  • 1/2 whole , green bell pepper chopped
  • 1 medium , carrot chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , sage
  • 2 tablespoon(s) , soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon(s) , Dijon mustard,
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , peanut butter
  • 1 to taste , catsup

Instructions:
The vegetables should be chopped as finely as possible!!! Combine all ingredients, and mix for 2 minutes with a large spoon. This will help bind it together. Pat into a greased 5 x 9-inch loaf pan, and bake in a 350° oven for 60 minutes, or until lightly browned. You may wish to top the loaf with catsup after 40 minutes of cooking, then return to the oven to bake the remaining time. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving
