INGREDIENTS:
- 1 pound(s) , Red Kidney Beans
- 1 pound(s) , Cubed Ham
- 1/2 pound(s) , Pickled Pig Tails
- 1 large , Yellow Onion Chopped
- 5 large , Garlic Cloves
- 1/2 whole , Bell Pepper Chopped
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Salt
- 2 teaspoon(s) , Bacon Fat

| Instructions: |
Soak bean in pot over night
Drain. Put on stove in large pot of water on medium heat add salt.
Put pig tails in pot of water and allow to cook until almost tender.
Cook beans until they begin to boil add onion, garlic, bell pepper and crushed red peppers. When beans become slightly tender add ham seasoning, cook for 20 more minutes.
Add pig tails and cook for 15 more minutes.
Add lard or bacon fat. Cook until beans are tender. Serve over a bed of cooked white rice. |
