Vegetable Soup

 Vegetable Soup is a wonderful winter dish. Great served with a Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 pound(s) , Chuck Roast Or Stew Meat
  • 3 pieces , Celery Stalks Diced
  • 3 large , Carrotes Diced
  • 12 cup(s) , Beef Stock or Water
  • 2 medium , Onions Diced
  • 14 1/2 ounces , Tomatoes Diced
  • 1/2 cup(s) , Parsley Chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Pepper
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Salt
  • 10 ounces , Frozen Lima Beans
  • 10 ounces , Frozen Corn
  • 10 ounces , Frozen Green Beans

Instructions:
About 3 hours before serving, add 10 cups water/broth, meat, salt, and pepper to a large pot on hight heat. When boiling, reduce heat to low and add remaining ingredients, except frozen vegetables. Cover and simmmer for 2 hours. Stir in frozen vegetables and cook for an additional 30 minutes or until all vegetables are tender
