INGREDIENTS:
- 1/3 cup(s) , dried tomatoes in oil drained and
- 2 whole , garlic cloves minced
- 1 pound(s) , large shrimp shelled, deveined
- 1/4 cup(s) , green onions thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoon(s) , fresh basil chopped
- 1/4 tablespoon(s) , white pepper
- 1 cup(s) , cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup(s) , dry vermouth
- 1 cup(s) , whipping cream
- 10 ounces , linguine
- 1 pinch , parmesan cheese grated
- 2 sprig(s) , fresh basil

| Instructions: |
Heat 2-tablespoon oil from tomatoes in frying pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic and shrimp when oil is hot. Cook, while stirring, until shrimp are cooked. Remove the shrimps from the pan and add onions, chopped basil, tomatoes, pepper, broth, vermouth and cream. Boil over high heat, stirring occasionally until reduced to about 1 1/2 cups (about 10min). Return shrimp to pan and stir until just heated through.
Meanwhile cook linguine in 4 quarts boiling salted water until just al dente (about
8 min for dried linguine). Drain, arrange on 4 plates and spoon sauce over.
Garnish with basil, cheese to taste |
