Praline-Pecan Sauce

 Praline-Pecan Sauce Serve warm over angel food cake, fat-free pound cake, or ice milk.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/2 cup(s) , dark brown sugar firmly packed
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , cornstarch
  • 1 cup(s) , evaporated skim milk
  • 1/4 cup(s) , pecans toasted and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , margarine or butter
  • 2 teaspoon(s) , vanilla extract

Instructions:
Combine brown sugar and cornstarch in a small saucepan. Gradually stir in milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens slightly. Remove from heat.

Add pecans, margarine and vanilla, stirring until margarine melts.
