Greek Lamb Stew

 I love to cook this on a cold day to really warm up with the delicious flavors of this stew

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 pound(s) , Boneless Lamb(cubed)
  • 2 medium , Onions(chopped)
  • 3 tablespoon(s) , Butter
  • 1 large , Garlic Clove(minced)
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , Fresh Parsley(chopped)
  • 0 to taste , Salt and Pepper
  • 6 ounces , Tomato Paste
  • 1 cup(s) , White Wine

Instructions:
Melt butter in stew pan or dutch oven; add meat, onion, garlic, parsley, salt and pepper; brown over medium fire, stirring constantly.
When all of the ingredients are browned, add tomato paste diluted in 2 cups water; add wine; stir; lower fire and simmer for about 1½ hours. This is a base for many other stews, you can add beans, okra, caulliflower, potatoes, artichokes, peas, zucchihi or string beans
