Roast Leg of Lamb with Wine Gravy

This garlicky wine sauce really makes this dish. I've cooked a lot of lamb, and this is one of my favorite recipes. |

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 medium , Leg of Lamb
- 1 cup(s) , Plum/Apple Wine
- 1 whole , Head Of Garlic Peeled and Crushed
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Salt
- 1/2 cup(s) , Dried Morel Mushrooms
- 2 tablespoon(s) , Cornstarch

| Instructions: |
Combine wine, garlic, salt and morels or mushrooms in a covered roasting pan. Pour over leg of lamb.
Cover and roast at 325° about 30 minutes for each pound of lamb.
Once the roast is done, remove to platter and with the roaster on medium-high heat, add the 2 tablespoons cornstarch mixed in ½ cup water. Stir until gravy thickens. Serve with lamb |
