English muffins with tomato"lips" served with chips are a fun treat for children around Halloween. They are low fat, and there are plenty of nutrients in the tomatoes. |

INGREDIENTS:
- 6 whole , English Muffins
- 8 ounces , Mozzarella Cheese Shredded
- 6 medium , Tomatoes
|
|
| Instructions: |
Separate English muffins into halves. Arrange halves on a cookie sheet rough side up.
Place a layer of shredded cheese on each muffin half. Cut the tomatoes in half and use a
teaspoon to scoop out the pulp. Use a knife to cut out the
outlines of pairs of lips from the tomato skins. Place a pair of lips, shiny side up, on
each muffin half. Then place the cookie sheet under the broiler for 3 to 5 minutes, or
until the cheese begins to brown. Remove from the broiler and place 1 or 2 muffin
halves on each plate. To round out your meal, add some tasty skin peelings (potato
chips), and drizzle lightly with ketchup blood Or add some onion fangs to give them a
real bite! |
