Salisbury Steak

 Salisbury Steak is a quick meal the family will enjoy

INGREDIENTS:
  • 1/4 pound(s) , lean ground beef
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) , salt
  • 8 whole , fresh mushrooms chopped
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , margarine or butter
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , curry powder
  • 1/2 cup(s) , beef boullion
  • 1/4 teaspoon(s) , black pepper fresh ground

Instructions:
Mix the meat with salt and pepper; shape into a patty. Pan fry in a lightly greased skilled until cooked to your preference, about 4 minutes on each side (or broil if preferred); remove and keep warm.

Cook the mushrooms in butter for 2-3 minutes. Blend in the flour and curry powder; cook for another 3 minutes, stirring.

Add the beef bouillon and cook, stirring frequently, until smooth and thickened. Pour over the meat patty and eat at once.
