Crock Pot Brisket Sandwich

 Brisket is Texas BBQ. This recipe is done in the crock pot which yields a very tender end product.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 pound(s) , Beef Brisket
  • 2 cup(s) , Apple Cider
  • 1 medium , Head of Garlic Separated, Crushed and Peeled
  • 2 tablespoon(s) , Whole Peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoon(s) , Thyme
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , Mustard Seed
  • 1 tablespoon(s) , Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon(s) , Ground Allspice
  • 1 teaspoon(s) , Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon(s) , Celery Seed
  • 3 whole , Cloves
  • 1 bottle(s) , Dark Beer
  • 10 medium , Sourdough Sandwich Rolls Halved

Instructions:
Place all ingredients except beer, 1 1/2 cups of cider and rolls in a zip top bag and marinate in the refrigerator overnight. Place brisket and marinade in a slow cooker, add beer and remaining cider. Cover and cook on low for 10 hours. serve on rolls with the sauce on top of the sliced brisket.
