Flank steak is fairly cheap and has a great flavor. It is used in many Mexican dishes, the chipotle and orange really give it a great taste |

INGREDIENTS:
- 1 tablespoon(s) , Adobo Sauce
- 1 whole , Chipotle Chili Pepper
- 1 tablespoon(s) , Brown Sugar
- 1/3 cup(s) , Orange Juice
- 1 large , Orange Zest of
- 1 tablespoon(s) , Canola Oil
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Salt
- 2 pound(s) , Flank Steak
|
|
| Instructions: |
In a small bowl, whisk together the adobo, chipotle, brown sugar, orange juice and zest, oil and salt. In a shallow dish just large enough to hold the steak, combine the marinade and the steak, turning the steak once to coat both sides.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 8 hours.
Preheat the grill or broiler. Transfer the steak to the grill or broiler, discarding the marinade, and cook, turning at least once to ensure even browning, until the desired degree of doneness, about 12 minutes for medium-rare, depending on the thickness. |
