Five Spice Beef Casserole

 Five spice is a chinese mix of 5 aromatic spices. Go light because it is strong.

INGREDIENTS:
  • 2 tablespoon(s) , Oil
  • 3 slice(s) , Fresh Ginger
  • 2 large , Garlic Cloves Chopped
  • 1 medium , Onion Sliced
  • 2 1/2 pound(s) , Stew Beef Cubed
  • 1 whole , Star Anise
  • 1 1/2 medium , Cinnamon Sticks
  • 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Five Spice Powder
  • 3 tablespoon(s) , Soy Sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Sugar
  • 2 cup(s) , Beef Stock

Instructions:
Heat wok over high heat with oil. Add ginger, garlic, and onion. Stir fry for 1 minute. Add beef chunks and continue to stir fry for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes on high heat. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
