INGREDIENTS:
- 1 tablespoon(s) , Butter
- 1 medium , Onion Chopped
- 1/2 cup(s) , Celery Chopped
- 1/2 cup(s) , Green Bell Pepper Chopped
- 2 large , Garlic Cloves Minced
- 3 slice(s) , Firm White Bread
- 1/3 cup(s) , Milk
- 1 pound(s) , Ground Beef
- 1 pound(s) , Ground Pork
- 1 large , Egg Beaten
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Ground Cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon(s) , Cayenne Pepper
- 1 teaspoon(s) , Salt
- 1 tablespoon(s) , Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 1/2 tablespoon(s) , Ketchup

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a small frying pan melt butter; add onion, celery, green pepper and garlic. Cook until wilted. In a small bowl soak bread in milk and break into crumbs. In a large bowl place meats, vegetables mixture, bread with milk and remaining ingredients. Mix well and shape into a loaf. Place loaf in shallow pan, bake one hour; serve. Makes 6 servings. |
