Barbecued Tuna with Lemon Butter

 bacon and lemon butter add exquisite taste to the grilled tuna

INGREDIENTS:
  • 3 pound(s) , Tuna Steaks
  • 6 slice(s) , Bacon
  • 1/2 cup(s) , Butter
  • 1 large , Garlic Clove Minced
  • 1/4 cup(s) , Lemon Juice
  • 2 tablespoon(s) , Fresh Parsley Minced

Instructions:
Wrap 1 strip of bacon around the circumference of each steak and secure with a toothpick. Melt butter, stir in garlic, lemon juice and parsley. Set aside. Grease grates of a preheated grill and place steaks about 5-inches above the coals. Brush with lemon butter, baste and cook. Turn only once and baste several times until fish becomes opaque. Allow 10 minutes per inch of thickness.
