Rice Krispie Treat Recipe

Rice Krispie treats are always a favorite at my house. As the Holidays approach I find myself cooking more and more goodies. I have tried several Rice Krispie Treat Recipes in the past and this is the one that turns out the best for me. I hope you enjoy and as always please give me your feedback!

Ingredients:

1 10 oz. Package Regular Marshmallows
6 Cups Rice Krispies cereal
3 Tablespoons butter

Instructions:

Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
Add marshmallows and stir them in until they are completely melted.
Remove saucepan from heat.
Add the rice krispies cereal to the saucepan and stir until well coated.
Using wax paper or a buttered spatula, evenly press the rice krispie treat mixture into a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan greased with non-stick cooking spray.
Cut the treats into 2 inch squares.

Classic Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe

Are you tired of eating chocolate chip cookies from a package? It isn’t hard to make them from scratch. This is a great classic chocolate chip cookie recipe that you will definitely enjoy!

Ingredients:

2 large eggs
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup of softened butter (approximately 2 sticks)
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips (approximatey a 12oz package)

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 375°.
Take a small bowl and mix the flour, salt, and baking soda.
In a large bowl, mix the sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and butter until it makes a creamy mixture.
Add one egg at a time to the large bowl and beat well each time.
Pour the contents of the small bowl into the large bowl and mix thoroughly.
Add in the chocolate chips and mix well.
With a rounded tablespoon, scoop the chocolate chip cookie dough onto an ungreased baking sheet. Make the cookies as large or small as you want.
Let the chocolate chip cookies bake for 9-11 minutesor until they are a golden brown.
Let the cookies cool on their baking sheets for at least 2 minutes.
