One of my favorite breakfast foods is french toast. I even like to order it for dinner at restaurants when I am out, but it can be hit or miss on the taste. French toast isn’t really that hard to make, so you shouldn’t be intimidated. The following is the best french toast recipe that I have tried and I highly recommend. This recipe will serve a family of 4, but if you are serving more or less you can adjust according. Enjoy!
4 large eggs
2 tablespoons milk
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
8 slices of bread (Thick Texas Toast for Best Results)
Powdered Sugar (To taste and for Decoration)
Cooking Spray or Oil
In a medium to large size bowl beat the eggs, cinnamon, and milk together.
Dip the bread into the egg mixture until thoroughly coated.
Heat a griddle or frying pan on medium heat and lightly coat with cooking spray or oil.
Place the egg coated bread slices on the griddle or frying pan and cook until a golden brown on both sides.
Once cooked, place on plates to serve and sprinkle powdered sugar to taste.
